One of the most exciting things happening in our house at the moment is that Alex's mum and dad are building a new book shelf for us.
We asked for this primarily because, last year, Alex sent me to Taunton on a mission to retrieve a virtually complete set of the English Law Reports from 1563-present day. These 250 volumes of law have been sat in our kitchen ever since. We're looking forward to them having a permanent home.
They are going to be joined on the bookshelf by a gift of theology books that my dad gave me last week. At the moment, we have 6 crates of theology ready to unpack in our living room.
We like books.
