Update.

Alex is nearly 25 weeks in now. Baby is starting to squiggle and kick a bit more but he has learnt to be quiet when Alex is at work. Midwife says that all signs are he is healthy. No real progress on the DIY, although the garden is looking pretty radiant.

Not much to say really apart from that. Church is pretty hectic at the moment preparing for multiple morning services next Sunday. I'm doing my first wedding tommorow. Not able to do registers yet, but I'm doing the 'to have and to hold' bit. Is exciting. Have bought a new tie specially.

White Stripes

The new white stripes album is currently nestled in our cd player and will be fighting off everything else that comes its way for a while. In short, its brilliant. After the disappointment of realising that I don't really like the new Arctic Monkey's album (too bleak) it's great to be able to enjoy a good record from 2007. Favourite songs from the album are effect and cause and conquest. Although the backwards bagpipe song is also funny in a surreal sort of way.

Stop The Boycott

Look here for a website that campaigns against the recent decision by the University and College Union to boycott Israeli academics and universities. I've signed the petition and I would encourage anyone in favour of academic freedom to do the same.

Simon Preaching on 3rd June

Part of my job is that I get to preach in Church sometimes on a Sunday morning. Today was one of those days. I love it. It's so much fun.

Anyway, as this blog is here to share our life, so i thought we'd share this with you too.
